Ondanks het gigantische succes van afgelopen zaterdag 21 augustus met ruim 70.000 demonstranten worden we nog steeds niet gehoord. Dat uit de ivoren toren niet meer komt dan een uitnodiging voor een gesprek zien wij als een zwaktebod waaruit blijkt dat ze de antwoorden ook niet hebben. Dit sterkt ons in onze overtuiging dat dit beleid gebaseerd is op willekeur. Wij blijven vechten voor heropening en gaan op 11 september opnieuw de straten op in verschillende steden. We roepen hierbij iedereen op om met ons mee te lopen: Unmute Us!

Despite the enormous success of our protest on August 21st with more than 70.000 demonstrators, we are still not being heard. We see the fact that nothing more than an invitation for a conversation as a sign of weakness, which shows that they don’t have the answers either. This reinforces our belief that this policy is based on arbitrariness. We continue to fight for reopening and we will walk the streets again on September 11th. We hereby call on everyone to walk with us: Unmute Us!
